Male Breast Reduction Recovery
You will feel some discomfort after the surgery which can be controlled by pain medication. Although swelling and bruising peaks in 48 hours, most patients notice a flatter chest right away. Although the worst swelling dissipates in a few weeks, in some cases, swelling can last up to three months. You will need to wear a compressive garment for four to six weeks for best results. Individual recovery will vary, but most patients are able to return to work in five to seven days.
